Who is Ben DeLong?

Ben is a singer and musician around Toledo, Ohio. Whether his full band is playing for a wedding, sitting solo on a country club patio playing original songs, or he's entertaining Senior Citizens, all audiences will enjoy each and every performance he does.

On ReverbNation, Ben has sat as the #1 ranking Singer/Songwriter in the Toledo Region as well as the Top 20 in the Nation. "Don't Wanna Wait" will be featured on ReverbNation's page in February 2019. A prolific writer and composer, he enjoys entering songwriting contests and most recently has been a top three finalist.

Ben was born and raised around Dayton, Ohio to a very musical family. Beginning at a young age, he started singing and playing music at his local church, something he continues to this day. His musical study began on the piano and then transitioned to trumpet at Ridgeville Christian School and Bellbrook High School, and eventually earned a B.A. in Church Music from Cedarville University. "Eclectic" would be a good word to describe Ben's genre as he was trained in classical piano, grew up with gospel songs, jazz-infused studies in college, and has a passion to create original music.

Some of his influences include Gavin DeGraw, Jason Mraz, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Switchfoot, and Mumford & Sons.
